What Can I Do Now!

There are many ways you can get involved! Express your interest and we'll get you started right away.

  • If you have not yet contacted us, go to the Be an Advocate page. It has a form you can fill out with check boxes to express your volunteer interests.
  • If you've already filled out an Advocate form, email us at Care@SecondParentAdoption.org and we will connect you with a team leader.

Here is a look at the many ways you can participate. Just pick one and jump in because NOW is the time for our children to have their parents legally recognized!

Community Education

  • Join the Speaker's Bureau

  • Coordinate a CARE Speaking Event

  • Apply your writing, graphic design and editorial skills to CARE publications and web site

  • Educate the people around you about this issue, ask them to get involved

 

Coalition Building

  • Keep informed and be ready to take quick action if necessary

  • Ask groups you are affiliated with to support CARE and its activities

  • Become part of the rapid response coordination team

Fundraising

  • Donate money

  • Host a House Party

  • Contribute legwork to fundraising campaigns

  • Connect CARE with potential donors
